Vixlet (2014 - 2017)

Director of Technology

Vixlet was a next-generation, white-label social platform, centered on shared interest rather than more traditional social platforms based on six-degrees of separation (i.e. direct connections between individuals). This white-label platform was then tailored for individual brands, providing a fan-based social network, with each brand defining a separate mobile & web app.

Vixlet filed for Chaper 11 in November, 2017 and all apps were pulled from the App Store.

Simplexity (2014 - 2015)

Simplexity was a startup focusing on mining users location data to “rate” venues (e.g. restraints, bars, hotels, etc.). Rather than using user ratings, Simplexity based rating on objective foot traffic and numbers rather than subjective user comments..

After failing to secure funding, Simplexity shut its doors in 2015 and it’s flagship app was pulled from the App Store.

Vizit

Vizit was the flagship app of Simplexity. It mined user location data (“crowd-sourcing the crowd”) to rate venues based on foot traffic and volume.
